It all started out a few years ago with a revolutionary new product: a lightweight touring boot with high-performance skiing DNA. Now the time has come to introduce the next-gen Atomic Backland boot. The Backland Crabon continues to offer epic natural movement, but is fine-tuned for even easier handling. An additional Boa Fit System wraps the foot perfectly with a simple spin and dial.
The boot is loaded with features to make anyone a better ski tourer: The Frictionless Pivot provides epic natural movement and makes every vertical meter easier. Taller, more supportive cuffs provide better leverage while turning. The Memory Fit 3D liner gives optimum foot hold with pre-shaped heel and ankle areas. A supremely comfortable first fit is highly customizable, while climate control manages temperature peaks all day long. The easy-to-use Atomic Free/Lock System makes transitions simple and fast for beginners and experts alike.
The result: uphill the Backland Carbon feels like a hiking boot. Downhill? All the stability, strength and stiffness that is needed.
