The ultimate convertible travel packs
The new GREGORY travel packs Tetrad (for men) and Tribute (for women) are an all-inclusive solution for travellers – including for use further off the beaten track. It consists of a large backpack with a detachable daypack and a robust 3-in-1 travel cover that provides protection and security from rough handling during check in, wet weather and unwanted access. Inside, the Active Shield compartment offers vapour, dirt and odour resistant protection to keep clean kit separate from dirty clothes and gear. The high-quality, comfortable internal-frame suspension system channels optimum load transfer to the hipbelt and the adjustable torso length provides a custom fit.
Choosing the right equipment for adventure travelling has always meant purchasing various items of travel luggage. The new Tetrad and Tribute packs do it all with just one pack. For men, the Tetrad comes in 75/60/40 liter versions, while the women’s Tribute pack is available in 70/55/40 liter volumes.
Thanks to the all-round zip it opens up entirely, just like a suitcase. This then enables full access for easy packing. Inside is the zippered, odour-resistant, dustproof and waterproof Active Shield compartment. It keeps dirty shoes or wet clothing separate from the rest of your luggage.
Gregory equips these packs with fully adjustable suspension system. Stabilized by a lightweight perimeter wishbone frame, it distributes weight evenly to the hips. The back panel, harness and hipbelt, are made of perforated dual density Cross Linked Polyethylene (CLPE) and open cell foam. This ensures good to allow air flow and moisture transport. For a custom fit, the adjustable torso length offers the perfect size so that all models fit each user.
At the side, full-surround gear guard foam padding on the exterior of the pack protects your luggage and the main zippered opening, while compression straps allow the contents to be adjusted to stabilise the load. The top zippered pocket provides quick access to important items, such as your wallet, mobile phone or the 3-in-1 cover.
Gregory gives both of the larger models a fully-featured, zip-off daypack with a 20/18 liter capacity. These also benefit from a padded laptop and tablet sleeve. In addition, the zip-off daypack has a durable front mesh stuff pocket that can accommodate an extra layer and dual mesh sides pockets for a water bottle, gloves etc. The shoulder straps and back panel are foam padded for good ventilation.
The 3-in-1 travel cover provides protection from rain, theft and damage during check-in and transport. Made of waterproof, seam-taped, tear- and abrasion-resistant nylon, it fully encloses the entire backpack and suspension system. Access is via the zipper – with lockable pulls – at the back.
Details such as the internal zippered quick-access security pocket, padded handles on three sides, integrated safety whistle on sternum strap and ergonomically shaped zip pullers round off this well-designed pack.
The men’s Tetrad is available in the colours ferrous orange and pixel black, while the women’s Tribute comes in bordeaux red or mystic grey.
