For fall / winter 2017, the Californian brand continues to mix performance, style
and comfort with the use of sustainable materials and production. Building up on
the brand’s #sustainableclothingmovement, prAna is introducing the use of
traceable, responsible down (according to the independent Responsible Down
Standard RDS) and PFC-free durable water repellant (DWR) into its production.
These add to prAna having been one of the first major apparel makers to offer Fair
Trade certified clothing (and being officially accredited by the Fair Labor
Association) and the brand’s growing offerings of bluesign® certified styles.

The Showdown Jacket for men and women combines four attributes in one: dry,
warm, on-trend and it’s simply made right. The jacket is bluesign® certified, filled
90/10 RDS down, and features a unique outer fabric: a 64% eco-friendly yarn-dyed
recycling Polyester with a PFC-free DWR-finish. Its touch and feel is pretty untypical
for a down jacket, as the soft-brushed surface almost reminds of flannel. In the two
check-designs the Showdown Jacket comes with a unique lumberjack appeal.

The Briann Pant is a stylish, skinny leg addition to prAna’s range made from the
performance-focused Stretch Zion fabric. This traditional 5 pocket style comes as a
mid rise and is made from a sturdy and quick drying 93% Polyamide / 3% Elasthane
weave, providing a UFP 50+.
In its popular dress category prAna is adding the Fair Trade-certified Ellis Dress.
The cozy slub jersey features an oversized slouch collar with a drawcord. Made
from 60% Organic Cotton and 40% Polyester, the Ellis Dress is the perfect piece
to wear on everyday adventures or the afterwork drink.
The Mariana Sweater is a midweight, long sleeved, crew neck sweater with slight
color blocking and marked knit-in stripes. Its diagonal side zip turns it into a
highlight piece of an overall expanded collection of sweaters from lightweight to
heavyweight, from sporty to retro, in a modern fit.
